About the Housing Action Lab at the Florida Housing Coalition

The Housing Action Lab at the Florida Housing Coalition is a statewide, independent advocacy and research hub that supports policymakers, builders, industry groups, and advocates in their efforts to champion affordable housing policy.

Housing affordability is the most pressing issue facing many of our communities and the Florida Housing Coalition is committed to tackling the problem by stepping more into state and local advocacy and by being a resource hub for actionable housing policy. This Substack provides updates on Florida affordable housing policy, state and local pro-housing wins, data-driven policy research, and advocacy tools to generate momentum for action on affordable housing policy.

How You Can Support the Lab

The Housing Action Lab helps nonprofit and for-profit developers, housing advocates, industry leaders, and policymakers through direct advocacy, data-driven policy research, and state and local coalition building. We help build the case for action. Your support will help us continue our efforts to champion affordable housing solutions to build a more affordable Florida.

The Housing Action Lab is financially supported by our Partners committed to tackling Florida’s affordable housing crisis through evidence-backed policy solutions. We offer membership options, commissioned policy papers to build the case for state and local action, local housing action guides, and graciously accept donations to support our work.
